We are a small family run nursery providing a professional childcare service with that home from home feeling that so many parents want for their young children. The Nursery is a lovely detached house in a nice residential area within close proximity of four primary schools. We are within 5 minutes walk to Romford town centre and it is also along a main bus route.

Through play, our professional, dedicated and caring practitioners promote each individual child’s learning and interests.

We respect that parents are their children’s first educators and we hugely value our strong partnership with parents. Parents and carers are welcome to participate at the nursery and we actively encourage an open and respectful relationship between practitioners and our children’s families. 

Our policies and procedures cover all areas and with careful utilisation we aim to ensure that the children will always be in a safe and caring environment  at all times. We also have in place all the relevant insurance policies.

Fees

The daily nursery fee is £58.00 Half day sessions are £35.00 and run from 7.30am-1pm and 1.00pm- 6.30pm.The nursery is open 51 weeks and is closed for the Christmas period which is chargeable.

All fees are due, and payable, one full month in advance by standing order, cash, and cheque and or childcare vouchers. Our fees are calculated using the following formula:

£58.00 x (number of days child attends per week) x 52 (weeks of the year) / 12 months

If a child has to leave in exceptional circumstances, four weeks written notice must be given to the manager .We recommend the easiest way to pay nursery fees is by bank transfer. All fees are inclusive of nappies, wipes, all children’s meals, snacks and refreshments throughout the day.

Funding

All children receive 15 hours funding the term after they turn 3. We can offer the stretched offer over 51 weeks which amounts to 11 hours funded per week (throughout the year) if your child receives funding there Is an additional charge of £3.50 per meal.

30 hours

Some parents may be eligible for the extended hours of 30 hours funded. Like the universal funding, we can offer this stretched throughout 51 weeks which totals to 22 hours per week.

If a child is offered a place that includes the settings normal lunch or dinner times but the parent does not want their child to have our meals, then the parent will collect the child and can return after 1 hour. We will not be allowing packed lunches to be brought onto site due to extreme allergic reactions and lack of storage space.

There is a consumable charge for each session which takes into consideration the following:
Snacks; drinks; fresh fruit; wipes; higher than required staff ratios; higher than required staff qualifications; BSL training, All staff Paediatric learning journals, photographs, Super Star Sports, etc.

Consumable fee of £7 per half session
Optional meals @ £3.50 per meal

Nursery Meals

We will ensure that all meals and snacks are nutritious, healthy and balanced.  We source low salt, and no added sugar products. Children’s medical and personal dietary requirements are always known and respected (Parents/carers are required to provide details when their child is enrolled into the nursery). Multicultural diet is always offered, to make sure those children from all backgrounds encounter familiar tastes and that all children have the opportunity also to try new food. Dietary rules of religious groups, vegetarians/vegans are known and met in an appropriate way, making sure that they are always respected and valued within the setting.
