Truly Scrumptious Early Years Pre-School & Nursery Ongar

Our Ongar setting opened in June 2015 and is located next to the Zinc Arts Centre, situated in the town of Chipping Ongar, rural Essex, which is in walking distance to the high street and the beautiful Epping Ongar Steam Train Station.

We are Makaton friendly and offer baby yoga, weekly french lessons, sports lessons and much more. We have access to a beautiful theatre where we can put on end of year and Christmas shows for parents as well as summer graduation for our pre-schoolers leaving to attend reception in September.

We are pleased to announce from September 2025 we will be offering Spanish lessons for our babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers via “Speak like a native” who say “Speak Like A Native’s nursery sessions are all about learning by doing. Our approach combines songs and rhymes, imaginative play and movement, and stories to help young children start speaking a second language spontaneously.”

We are an open planned setting, with a separate large and airy carpeted 0-2 year baby room. Our toddler room and pre-school room are spacious and airy with a lot of wooden, natural resources, with the toddler room having the benefit of a separate sensory/sleep room
